            No mortal mind can grasp God´s ways,

            But only in amazement gaze

            At what a vibrant tapestry

            Is woven from humanity.

            God intertwines with every line

            An intricate and fine design;

            The patterns of our lives reveal

            His loving touch to bind and heal.

            And yet when burdened down by care

            Our sight is blurred by dark despair;

            With clouded vision, all we see

            Reflects our own mortality.

            O light of Light! O love most kind!

            Illuminate the blinded mind:

            Enlighten us that we may be

            Partakers of your mystery.

            O Father, with your gracious Son

            And Spirit ever three in one,

            May you our hope and vision be,

            That we may always dwell with Thee.
